We are a boutique firm insurance defense/ personal injury firm looking for a self-motivated Legal Assistant to manage daily operations and support our attorneys in delivering exceptional client service. You will act as the “right hand” to our team, juggling administrative tasks with basic legal support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Case Management: Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems.

Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, courts, and vendors.

Drafting: Prepare first drafts of correspondence, memos, and routine legal documents.

Scheduling: Manage complex calendars, including court deadlines and depositions.

Trial Prep: Assemble exhibit binders and organize evidence for hearings.

Billing: Assist with time entry, invoicing, and tracking client payments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years in a law office or professional administrative setting.

Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.  MUST be able to type 60 WPM.

Detail-Oriented: Exceptional proofreading and organizational skills are non-negotiable.

Self-Sufficiency: Ability to work independently and take initiative on pending tasks.

Confidentiality: Strict adherence to attorney-client privilege and data security.
