HILARY C. BANKER, graduated cum laude from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School in 1996, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from S.U.N.Y. Geneseo in 1993. She was admitted to the bars of New York State and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York in 1997.

Hilary has been appointed by the National President to serve as a National Board Representative for the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an elite group which requires 20 civil jury trials to verdict as a condition of membership. She previously served as President of the Buffalo Chapter of ABOTA. She was 2010 President of the Defense Trial Lawyers Association of Western New York and was also President of the University at Buffalo Law School Alumni Association GOLD Group, and the Western New York Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. She is a former director of the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association and the University at Buffalo Law Alumni Association, and is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County.

In 2013 Hilary received the M. Dolores Denman Lady Justice Award for Lifetime Achievement from the Western New York Chapter of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York. In 2013, Super Lawyers Magazine named her one of the Top 25 Women in Upstate New York and in 2011 she was named one of Buffalo Business First’s 40 Under 40. Every year for the past three years she has been recognized by The Buffalo Law Journal as one of the preeminent attorneys in Western New York.
